Newsflash: Isaac runs away!
Isaac decided to run away this afternoon after getting into some trouble with his mom. He thought maybe life might be better in another family that didn't have so many rules and chores. I let him take his coat, but that was it (the other stuff in the house is the family's). He took back his Christmas present he gave me (a fancy music box/globe), because he said he bought it with his Awana bucks. I said that was fair, but I wanted a picture to remember him by. We were going to be sad without him, but he had to decide. He left at 1:38pm.

That must have taken some courage to let him leave and he even took his Christmas present back, hey. Glad to hear it only took him 20min. to come back and realize his family is okay for now. I would have been calling up the neighbors asking if they saw him outside while I was biting my finger nails. A good lesson for him to learn none the less!

I remember saying I would run away when I was little. My mother would always tell me that was fine but I couldn't leave the yard. I'm glad Isaac returned. :)
OH MY WORD......I can't believe you let him walk out the door. I remember when Emmie said she was going to that as well. She never did, but I would often say something like "maybe you'd like to live somewhere else".....I can't remember now.....I have too many kids! lol
Oh my gosh! Like my mom said, I remember doing that as well but I never actually got past the sidewalk! I can't believe he actually left!
