Caballero & Animal Shelter Worker

Last night was "what you want to be when you grow up night" at Awana. We have big news. Samuel has made a career change. Apparently, he no longer wants to be a pirate when he grows up (although that is a close 2nd). He wants to be a "Mexican Cowboy" or a "Caballero". Where in the world did that come from? :) One thing, our boys DO have incredible imaginations! Isaac wants to work at the animal shelter. (that's fine with us, as long as it's not to fulfill a judge-ordered "community service" sentence. And Mia? A princess is fine for now!

This makes me laugh - I love how kids make these career changes on a day-to-day basis!! One of our boys wants to work at Taco John's - now that's a high aspiration!!! :) Another wants to be a librarian - hmmm, wonder where that came from!! All they know is they DON'T want to be parents - too much work!!! :)

i got a much needed chuckle out of that... isn't it all our dreams to never see our precious children in that fashionable orange jumpsuit.

Funny! Makes Christmas shopping easy for you. All you have to do is stock him up on stew and beans for those long roundups! ;)
Gotta wonder where they come up with those things. I often wonder what I will be when I grow up, too.

As long as he doesn't live on Brokeback Mountain, I think you'll be fine. xoE

The animal shelter Isaac will be dragging home all the left strays, Samuel at least doesn't have to take baths after He grows up. Cousin Anna, even tho she had her 14th b-day yesterday still feels SHE is the real princess in our family and she has the actions to prove it. She may not be quite as spicy, however, as the west coast one!
